USB & Network data cables are the main item of every modern device system. The cables are made to transmit signals to provide the high grade services and zero issues.

UL approved the UL2725 cable standard for use in the internal wiring of electrical devices and information technology. It is certified by Underwriters Laboratories to meet their strict performance and safety standards. The insulation is rated at 60V and 60 °C, so it can easily transmit information within PCs, printers and servers. QL-Custom UL2725 USB & Network data cables feature fine stranded copper conductors that provide the cables with low resistance and excellent signal quality.
There are 4 major types of USB & Network data cables that are used to transmit data over the networks . CAT5, CAT6, CAT7 and CAT8 . Every new category delivers faster speeds, better shielding and greater performance for today's networking requirements.
Most older network deployments use CAT5 which can deliver speeds of up to 100 Mbps. It has a standard bandwidth. It's been mostly replaced by newer standards of cable.
CAT6 has better resistance to interference and can deliver up to 10 Gbps over shorter distances. It is utilized in commercial network systems, homes and offices.
CAT7 is capable of supporting speeds up to 10 Gbps and provides superior shielding to reduce signal noise. It is good at situations that require reliable, high-speed connections.
The latest standard is CAT8, with a maximum speed of 40 Gbps and very big bandwidth. Its main target market is high-volume business networks, data centers and server rooms.
With USB & Network data cables, we start from the conductor and work our way out, using only the best materials. We do precision work and we don’t take any short cuts so your signal is pristine all the way through.
We never use copper clad aluminum (CCA). We always use pure copper conductors. Copper, full gauge, has a much less resistance to carrying electricity. This results in a better power distribution over long runs, faster data and less heat. Our USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 data transmission cable lines with solid AWG-spec conductors meet or surpass all the set standards. The conductor is of thicker wall so it can be bent and re-bent without tearing the inner strands. It is important to use the correct gauge copper when using PoE and HPOE. Thin wire can lead to a loss of voltage which can cause equipment failure. You will find conductors on each reel to operate to their rated capacity.

We can offer any type of shielding configuration, as different jobs require different types. For locations with minimal electromagnetic interference (EMI), Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) is a good choice. Each pair is covered by foil for FTP, for basic screening. For loud industrial environments, SFTP is ideal as it provides each pair with an individual foil and an overall braid. The heavy-duty SSTP (Screened STP) is prepared for the most demanding RF conditions. We do not use the catalog default for shielding – we customize our network and data cabling supplies to your application. Before recommending a shielding type, our engineering team will review your environment, cable routing, and use case.

The first line of defense for any USB & Network data cable is its jacket. We have a variety of nylon braid jackets and PVC, PUR, TPE, LSZH etc. PVC is inexpensive and resistant to UV, PUR is hard against industrial oils and chemicals, TPE remains flexible even at extreme low temperatures, and LSZH minimizes the harmful effects of smoke in enclosed areas. If you are building a rack with a certain color scheme in mind, you may have the network cable jackets dyed to match. We can also help with logo embossing, sequential footage marking and custom printing. A good jacket will not only make field maintenance quicker and safer, but will also extend the life of the cable by years.

Network data cables are used in modern applications to carry information, power, timing signals, protocol traffic, at high speeds . Make sure the cables you choose are compatible with the protocol you want to run. There are three cutting-edge protocols that will influence the future of data network cabling infrastructure.

The latest spec for PCI Express is PCIe 7.0, which can provide a maximum bidirectional bandwidth of 512 GB/s over a ×16 link. It doubles PCIe 6.0 throughput and pushes the limits of cable design. At these speeds every part of the signal (USB & Network data cable, the connection, and the geometry of the trace) has to be perfect to preserve the integrity of the signal. Our cables are ideal for PCIe 7.0 applications, with precisely matched impedance and low-loss dielectrics. This is essential for next-gen GPU systems, NVMe storage, and AI accelerators. We employ re-timing chips in active cable assemblies to guarantee clean eye diagrams at 64 GT/s PAM4 signaling.

Universal PoE can deliver up to 60W over a normal Ethernet connection by combining power and data on the network cable. UPOE needs better quality cable construction, as it uses all four pairs for power and data simultaneously. Single cable run to power building automation devices, thin clients, access points and IP cameras. Our CAT6A and CAT7 cables will not degrade with heat from UPOE power demands. In such high voltages, the jacket material and conductor gauge become paramount. We test the resistance stability and thermal increase of our UPOE rated cables under full load.

High Power PoE (IEEE 802.3bt Type 3/4) can deliver up to 90W of power through a single Ethernet connection. Now powered equipment such as pan-tilt-zoom cameras, LED light fixtures, and industrial controls are no longer hampered by the lack of nearby power sources. HPOE is the most demanding when it comes to your cable. Low quality cable causes overheating, voltage loss and early failure. Our HPOE-certified cables feature a thicker copper gauge and jackets that can withstand high temperatures to safely convey full-power loads. Shielded versions have data signals shielded from interference from the adjacent pair power currents.
The jacket material makes the difference for a USB & Network data cable’s durability and emergency safety. We help clients select the right jacket for their application including climate, temperature range, flex requirements and code requirements. Here are our recommended jacket styles for body types:

Imagine a spring. You can pull on it when you want it and push it back when you don't. A network cable can be coiled to store energy. This makes it ideal for use as a mobile cart, workstation, camera rig or industrial panel. The extruded cable is wound around a mandrel and then heat set to form the network cable coil. The pitch of the coil, its retracted and extended lengths are adjustable to meet your needs. Our coiled cables are made with high-flex conductors that can withstand tens of thousands of stretching cycles. We have chosen a jacket composition that will maintain flexibility in your working temperature range. Proper engineering design allows cables to flex regularly without breaking.
Polyurethane (PUR) jacketed cables are the best choice for demanding industrial applications. Cutting oils, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning chemicals would destroy regular PVC in a matter of weeks. PUR holds up. It remains flexible from about -40°C to +80°C, whether used outdoors or in cold storage. PUR is inherently abrasion resistant so this jacket will not harm your cable drag chains or robotic arms. Chemical Exposure Testing All of our PUR network data cable products are tested for chemical exposure prior to manufacture. Our PUR is available in a range of shore A hardness ratings to provide flexibility and cut resistance. If you see oil, motion and cold in your cable at the same time, call PUR.
Color-coding your network and data wiring is an easy and quick way to reduce installation problems and to speed up troubleshooting. Our colored jackets cover each CAT standard. Blue is for general data, red for important systems, yellow for voice, green for security and we can also make a jacket to your exact specifications. This is not the case for other types of cable . Even at bends exposed to UV, the color of the network cable jacket remains the same throughout the entire reel . No worries about the color coming off when you strip down, it’s embedded in the compound. All of our cables are manufactured to TIA-568 standards for Catcat5 cable color order and Catcat6 cable color code wiring.
For consumer and prosumer USB cables, the best jacket material is thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). A TPE USB cable or TPE mini USB cable stays soft, flexible, and non-tangling even after years of regular use. TPE is free from phthalates and halogenated chemicals, making it a greener alternative to PVC. Our wholesale TPE USB cable inventory includes all four major types of USB connectors – A, B, mini and C. The strain relief of the mould-overmold eliminates the most common site of failure in conventional cables at the connection end. With the TPE design, the USB cable is able to withstand the bending stresses around the connection without breaking.

CAT8 cables and fibre-ready copper assemblies are required for high density server racks. Our USB & Network data cables are designed to data center standards and arrive in well-organized, labeled bundles. They offer PCIe direct-attach connectors and full HPOE power delivery, with top-of-rack switching.

Factory cables have to reliably stand up to harsh extremes of temperature, vibration and industrial oil. PUR and TPE jacketed data network cable products from us have no signal loss or early failure with robot arms, conveyor systems and precision CNC machine tool interfaces.

Medical device cables are subject to strict regulation. We build fully traceable LSZH-jacketed USB and network cable assemblies that are biocompatible for telemedicine, imaging and patient monitoring devices.

Telecom data cabling architecture needs low-loss, high-density cable runs. Our CAT6A and CAT7 assemblies suit outdoor cabinets, DSLAM installs, central offices, with weatherproof connections and UV-stable jackets.

Our best-in-class home network data cables deliver consistent reliable in-wall performance for professional smart home installers. Color-coded CAT6/CAT5e simplify zone identification; slim lines thread tight conduits easily.

In a live production environment, you need cords that can flex without making noise. Our coiled and PUR-jacketed network cables are the reliable choice for signal and fast deployment in camera control units, PTZ cameras and broadcast switcher racks.
The inner core efficiently carries the electrical signal or transmitted power. We use premium bare or tinned copper, cut to the exact AWG size specified in the official standard. Full gauge copper provides low DC resistance and excellent current capacity.
Each conductor is surrounded by dielectric insulators such as PE, FEP or PVC. The insulation protects the conductors from short circuits, controls the impedance, and defines the USB & Network data cable voltage and temperature ratings.
Conductors are neatly twisted together in pairs at a predetermined fixed lay length. Tighter twist effectively reduces crosstalk at high frequencies. CAT8 achieves its 40Gbps throughput by using the tightest twist rates of any copper Ethernet standard.
Each pair or the whole cable bundle could be tightly wrapped in aluminum-polyester or conductive copper foil. The first shielding layer of protection stops unwanted interference from high frequency electric fields from entering the core transmission stream.
Braided copper or tinned copper for better mechanical strength and low frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI) reduction. It also gives a good solid ground route for the shield. Our top-of-the-line cables typically have coverage densities of 85-95%.
The shield is terminated at one low-resistance equipment ground point, which is available as an exposed solid copper wire. We always include a properly sized drain wire for the shield it feeds in all of the shielded cable we build.
The round cable geometry and separation of pairs are maintained by means of cross-filler splines or foam fillers. This is important for smooth operation at high frequencies, and controls the impedance profile over the length of the wire.
The last protective outer layer determines the mechanical and chemical resistance of the finished cable. We provide premium materials such as Nylon, LSZH, PVC and PUR. We print custom logos, film markers and unique colours directly onto the outer jacket.

When you are transferring important data, connections can be suddenly lost at any time. Various devices can appear and disappear from the entire network without prior notice. The real problem is a frayed or broken wire inside the USB & Network data cable or a non-securely crimped terminal connection but users tend to wrongly blame their computer, the driver or the switch.
Every cable undergoes a high potential dielectric test and 100% continuity testing before leaving our facility. The strain-relieved overmolds we use don’t permit the flex stress at the conductor-to-connector connection. The shielded versions prevent wrong disconnects from happening due to outside electromagnetic interference in areas with a lot of electrical traffic.
The file copying is quite slow relative to the connection speed. The USB 3.0 connection is only USB 2.0 speeds but you can transfer data very quickly. With a CAT6 connector, you’re limited to 100Mbps. These are the classic symptoms of signal degradation caused by low quality conductors, high resistance or crosstalk between pairs.

We test each type of cable for impedance, return loss and insertion loss with full-gauge bare copper conductors. In our USB 3.1 data transfer cables there is plenty of extra area to satisfy SuperSpeed+ requirements. Matched conductor twist rates minimize crosstalk, so your data transfer cable will always run at rated speed.
The battery never fully charges, even when the visible on-screen status bar says "charging". A poor-quality cable that transmits only basic current and not the proper ID signal confuses both the charger and the connected mobile device. Not all commercially available USB cables are created equal. For instance, mainstream fast-charge protocols depend on tiny built-in ID resistors that are absent in regular data-only USB cables.
We offer mini USB and USB-C to USB-C data cables that already have the ID and CC (Configuration Channel) wiring implemented. They can charge quickly over USB PD, QuickCharge or one of their proprietary protocols. We ensure that each cable can support the necessary resistance values and can negotiate a charge before shipping so your device will always charge at maximum speed.
